Cochrane Avenue
Wood,Stone, Air. Architecture in flow.
Luxury home shaped around multi-generational living, offering comfort and ease for every family member. A central glass elevator draws light through the core and links each level, making movement simple and fluid. Spaces are designed to flex quiet corners for retreat, open rooms for gathering shifting as family life evolves.
Materiality plays a grounding role, with concrete providing solidity, timber bringing warmth, terrazzo adding a crafted detail, and breeze blocks filtering light and air through the home. Expansive glazing frames the landscape and softens the edge between indoors and out. Crowning it all, a rooftop terrace becomes both a retreat and a vantage point, capturing light and views across the city.
The home is further enriched through collaboration with a local Collingwood artist, whose custom light fittings bring a unique layer of character and artistry to the interiors.
At Cochran Avenue, I pushed materiality anchoring the home in solid foundations while tailoring a layout that balances quiet retreats with shared spaces for multi-generational living”
